Nehru Zoological Park always makes for a rich birding experience with the adjacent green corridor of the National Police Academy and Mir Alam Tank. So please come and enjoy a Sunday outing. The natural habitats in the zoo support species like Tickell’s Blue Flycatcher, Black-rumped Flameback, Spotted Owlet, Yellow Bittern, Painted Stork, Shikra, Purple Heron, Grey Heron, Grey-bellied cuckoo, Indian Grey Hornbill.

and just in case if anyone needs directions can meet us at Golden Palace Restaurant, Attapur (https://maps.app.goo.gl/oKDYQuZDMwkwfZ2s7) at 5:30am.
Kindly note below points from Zoo Authorities
A. No disturbance or damage should be caused to the animals housed in the Zoo or the Zoo infrastructure during visit.
B. The visitors shall invariably be accompanied by Zoo staff and the study shall be conducted without inconveniencing the animal keepers, other Zoo staff and visitors only when they are willing to participate in the proposed visit.
C. The Telangana State Forest Department or management of NZP, Hyderabad shall not be responsible for any untoward incidents or accidents while conducting study. The safety of the visitors shall not be the responsibility of TSFD/ Zoo management.
Please carry breakfast and enough water to keep yourselves hydrated. Do join us for we promise you a rich birding experience.
