Anna Sagar is a beautiful lake situated in the Sangareddy district of Telangana. The lake is a birding hotspot with an impressive list of 200+ species sighted here. Flamingos, Avocets, Godwits etc., have been sighted here frequently. The winter visitors have started dropping in so we can expect some good sightings.

First meeting point at BHEL Junction, as usual, at 6:00 a.m. and start in a convoy.  The second meeting point, say by about 6:30, would be at the Taj Dhaba, Muthangi, where we can grab a hot cup of Tea.

Since we need cars, members are requested take as many persons as possible in their vehicles.  Both lift givers and takers can co-ordinate with me – Sudhir 96522 83335!

Please carry some snacks for breakfast and plenty of water, apart from binocs, cameras, spotting scopes, etc.

Non-members are requested to contribute Rs. 100/- each to the Society kitty.
