(August 25, 2024): Field trip to Edulabad Lake

Dear Members,

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to a half-a-day’s birding field outing to Edulabad lake on Sunday, 25.08.2024. Located near Ghatkesar, the Edulabad Lake is home to about 171 bird species including many waders by the shore
The newly built pathway gives the near perfect elevation to birders for easy spotting. The gorgeous strawberry finches also known as the Red Avadavats, and Tri-colured Munias are the guests that are a feast for the eyes here.”
The convoy will start from NGRI Metro Station on the Tarnaka – Uppal road at 0700 am sharp.
We request every one of you interested to carpool so as to reduce our carbon footprint. Those driving down and those seeking lift may please contact the Trip Coordinator JVD Moorty @ 9849470411
I live on the Osmania University campus and can only pick up 4 passengers from NGRI Metro station.

Please carry snacks and water and bring your kids along to let them enjoy the wonderful outdoors.

Hoping to see you in large numbers and Happy Birding!

Regards
J V D Moorty
